To remain competitive, organizations must extract maximum knowledge from the information available and adopt a fact-based culture. It is no longer sufficient to just understand the what of traditional key performance indicators (KPIs), but also the why and how. Whether an organization is faced with small or big data, Visual Analytics (VA) supports individuals through data exploration, to help provide the key-insights necessary to make essential, data-driven decisions.
This semester-long intensive course is aimed at organizations considering VA tools and technology to transition to a data-driven culture. It is intended for analysts/researchers making sense of data, as well as managers, and those making decisions based on collected insights.
